Hello,
My paternal Great Grandmother was Henretta C.Winsett b. 1878 m.1894 d. 1964 her father was Lemuel Winsett he married Frances Stamey. Henretta married Major John Carico all of that side of the family came from Cherokee Co. & Alleghany Co. N.C. . Could your Lemuel be my Lemuel??
