I belive I have some information on the Wippel's of Pomeroy. I am told that I was named after a Katherine Wippel who lived during the 19th century. Her father was from Germany. I recommend you look through the church records of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Pomeroy Ohio.
