Hello, was quite surprised to find my last name "Wippel" is apparently not so rare as I thought, and was takne by surprise to find it UK / England.
Anyone there knows of German ancesty, or possibly French ancestry - my father's line (Kurt Wippel) obviously came from France into Germany in the 1800s.
Just starting to do some research on my ancestry.
Would appreciate any hints ...
