Lawrence Wisdom
Lawrence Clinton Wisdom, 75, of Hector, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at home.
He was born March 23, 1932, in Crowell, Texas and was the son of Lawrence Clayton and Alta V. Wisdom. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors; he loved his dogs, Daisey Maye and Bonnie, and of course the beagles. He was an Army veteran and retired as a self-employed electrical and building contractor in Russellville. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant sons; two sisters, Jean Wooten and Caroline Patton.
He is survived by his wife, Peachey Lojean Wisdom of Hector; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Clint and Linda Wisdom of Hector and Russell Lawrence and Brenda Wisdom of Russellville; one brother Max C. Wisdom of Hector; and one sister, Helen Laffoon of Hector; five nieces and six nephews.
Memorial services and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, at Walnut Grove Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jeff Paxton. Arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers memorial made to Arkansas Hospice; 2405 East Parkway, Russellville, AR 72802.
