Wisecarver vs. Wicecarver

Curious.

Does anyone know if the Wisecarver's and the
Wicecarver's happen to have been at one time
one in the same. That is can anyone trace
back to where the two different spellings
occurred. If in fact that is what happened.
My dad,Jake(Jacob)Wicecarver, (sisters,Glady,
Eula, >one died in a car accident supposedly
on a country road in Bollinger county when
she was small).
My Dad's uncle was J.H. Wicecarver,who owned
the J.H. Wicecarver store in Marble Hill, Mo.
My mom told the story that when I was born my
dad said she could name me what she wanted
so long as my initials were J.H. Wicecarver
because he so admired his uncle.
I have dabbeled a little in geneology and
found early misspellings which resulted
in Wicecarver as we know it today.
Also, I was looking at a Web Page where
I saw ayoung man with the last name
Wisecarver. What was a weird coincidence was
that this young man had the same first name
as my son. In looking at the young man's
facial features there was a very strong
resemblance to my son, myself, and my dad.
Anyway, if someone holds the key to the
answer to this question please drop me a
line.
Thanks,
