Wixon Indians
I had a talk with Earl Mills Sr today who was a chief, and got a lot of useful information.
He said that there have been a lot of Wixons in the Wampanoag tribe, including the writer of these articles:

They were published in the INDEPENDENT newspaper in 1928, written by Red Shell. Earl Mills, who was a friend of Red Shell, said that his name was Clarence Wixon.
I will be getting more info from Earl soon. He is going to be making some phone calls and some searching for me.
