WLADYCZKA was the name on her burial record. WLADEK was her Ameicanized name. There are several other names that she could be listed as. WLADUCZKAITE is another. Her Christian names were Felicija (Felicia) Sophia. Likely she was Lithuanian. Her name could have been Russianize, Polandized, and very likely, Germanized. “V” is like “W’ in German. It was common in those days. She married Simonas SHELPOWICZ sometime around 1900 in Chicago, very likely St Georges Church in Bridgeport.
