Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the L.E. Berhalter & Son Funeral Home here for Winfield S. Wogomon, 86, 305 N. Wood St., who died at 1:45 p.m. yesterday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 9, 1875, in Kosciusko County, the son of Levi and Mary Wogomon, and came to Kendallville in 1918. He had lived here continuously since that time. He was a retired worker at the former Star Tank and Boat Co. on S. Lincoln St. He was married in 1897 and his widow Hattie Lovett Wogomon, survives along with three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Castator, of Waterloo; Mrs. Wilda Kollman, of Kendallville, and Mrs. Wilda Meyers, of Pleasant Lake; two sons, Virgil, of Elkhart, and Bernard, of Union City; one sister, Mrs. Ora Wyatt, of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home. Rev. George O. Mehaffey, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate, at last rites. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
