Classification: Immigration
Surnames: Rosek, Wolan
Born to Andrew (born late 1800's, Prussian army vet) and Eva (Rosek) Wolan (died at 27 in around 1923 or 1924 of Tetanus) after settling from a northwest Polish village. Andrew was a younger son so he didn't inherit, so he worked before WWI in the USA to earn money for a farm there.

Just know original hometown of Andrew and Eva was not Tarnowbrzeg.

Many relatives came to the USA before and after WWI and stayed. My mother, Katherine, claimed it was to the east of the USA.

My mom, katherine, and my dad, John Mazurek, were DP's having had met after WWII in Heidelberg germany. In the fifties, they finally settled in Chicago.
