Im sorry I have not been on here in quite awhile. My computer was not working well & I moved to the boonies. I am back in civilization again & hoping to catch up. I have a tree Tippett/Wood but I don't know just how accurate it is in the older branches. I don't know why they moved to Arkansas either except maybe they just wanted to go somewhere new. That part of the family stayed in the ArkLaTex area for a few generations. There are still family members there but I have not spoken to them since I was a kid. They are Carter's & I believe Kennedy's & I am not sure of the other names. The only other Wood cousins with the Wood name were adopted & I have no idea what ever became of them. Still in the Texarkana area I assume. My mother was the only child that we know of from her father. I have been trying to do 4 branches (mom & dad) so I am a little slow. lol One thing I have noticed about doing both trees is that on very early census I find both of the families. Very interesting. Well Maybe I'll have a break thru soon. lol
