Town of Esopus - Freer ground

(Freer ground, near the barns on the Dimmock farm, south of Perrine’s bridge. Many stones are broken and scattered. Several unmarked field stones. This is one of the oldest burying grounds in the New Paltz Patent. (copied Dec. 6, 1930 by Dr. J. Wilson Poucher and Byron J. Terwilliger.)

Town of Rosendale – Coxing Burying Ground
Community ground known as the Coxing burying ground, near Rosendale, near the High Falls Road. Here is buried in an unmarked grave Captain Frederick Schoonmaker, a distinguished officer of the Patriot Army of the Revolutions. A monument to him is contemplated.
