Hi, Thanks for thinking of it, but the death doesn't fit. My John Wood died in the early 1840's or 50's, I can't remember specifically now, but I've got his will, so I do know his death date for sure. I've researched somewhat into John from RI since I thought maybe my John was connected, but no luck yet.
I suppose it is possible that Jonathan did not mention his living son John if John already had moved away to Hempstead Queens (which by 1820 he was established in his own household in Queens). Perhaps John and his father were not on good terms, thus the no mention in Johnathan's will and John moving away from the family? All speculation!
What were the other siblings names?
