Ruffin W. Woodard was supposedly born in NC in 1831. He married Mary Ann Gibson in Kentucky and died in Henderson, Kentucky in 1908. He had a son whose name John Wesley Woodard. I think that Ruffin's middle name was Wesley. I feel that he was probably born around Nash County if he was actually born in NC.
