Surnames: Ruggles, Woodbridge, Tenney, Tinney, Shippee
Does anyone have any information concerning the Ruggles Woodbridge Northeast Land Company? The company existed around 1810-1820. Perhaps in Massachusetts or Connecticut. My 4th great grandfather James Tenney purchased land in Virginia from this company. I wonder where the company was located and are there any records still in existance.
