Classification: Query
Surnames: Woodcock, Sinnot, Sinnott, Felton
I have an Annely Woodcock, born about 1832 in Solihull, Warwickshire, occupation: Labourer. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1852 on the same ship as his sister Jane FELTON (nee Woodcock). Today I found out that he then moved over to Victoria, Australia, and married in 1855 an Irishwoman named Margaret SINNOT (daughter of Michael SINNOT, farmer, and Mary MURPHY). They had a daughter, Mary Ann Woodcock, b 1855 - d 1859.
I've lost all trace of Annely post-1859, and haven't even found a death record for him on the Dept of Justice, Victoria, website. I've also checked online catalogues in other states of Australia for his death, but no luck there.
Does anyone know what became of Annely and his wife Margaret Woodcock (nee SINNOT)?
Many thanks
Rachel
