Phebe Woodfin, b 02/03/1796;father: Nicholas Woodfin, b. Greenbriar WVa., lived in Buncombe Co., NC near Asheville;mother: Hannah Mary Ashbrook. Nicholas father was Samuel Woodfin and Mary's father Was Moses Ashbrook. Phebe Woodfin married Thomas Swann in 1812 in TN then moved to Miss in 1835 and then Texas in 1870. I have good information on her descendants and her husband Thomas Swann's descendants. Thomas may have also have been from NC as I have found Swanns in several areas of the state and family info. indicates they were there. Any connections would be appreciated and I will be happy to share the data I have collected.
