I am looking for ANY information about families..descendants..stories...records..ANY information about my husband's family.
Here is what I do know:

In 1828 a Welsh coal miner came to America and settled near Eldon, Iowa to work in the copper mines. Whent he mines closed, they had to find other lives. Many of the family moved and settled in or near Grant County, Wisconsin. John had five sons:
John (married Hannah ??)
Samuel (b. 1819 in England (Wales) married Mary Baker 10-29-1848, Grant Co., WI
Simon (b. 1822, d. 1886)
Levison
Peter (b. 1824 in Staffordshire, England, married Rachel Lyons, d. 1903)

*Peter owned a bank in Bloomington, WI

Simon had a son named George who was a saloon keeper in 1880.

John had a son named Levison who was a carriage maker in Bloomington, WI.

Samuel was an Scout "doctor" and helped explore Oklahoma and points west.(He traveled with scouting parties as the medicine man.)

Samuel and Mary (Baker) Woodhouse had at least three sons.
Clinton (b.1865)
Falconer (b.1-1-1866)
Harry

Falconer won 100 acres in the Oklahoma land lottery in 1901.

Falconer had three sons:

Fred Nye Woodhouse (married Viola Spitler)
Charles Evans Woodhouse (married Hazel Vandale Winn)
Harry

Harry was a veteran of WWI and married a British girl. They were living in Shanghai, China where Harry was an insurance man. In 1941 at the beginning of WWII, Harry was sitting in a hotel lobby in Shanghai reading a newspaper when a Japanese bomb went off. The huge plate glass window shattered and the flying glass decapitated Harry.

Fred Nye Woodhouse did have children..I think some of them or descendants may now live in Rochester, NY...Would LOVE to hear from them..

Charles and Hazel had four children..Ronald Winn, Jack and Jill (Twins) and George Glbert. Jill died of burns when the twins were 14 months old. Ronald and George are both dead now and Jack is the only surviving of this line..and he is now 77 years old.

I am looking for ANY additional information about the descendants of John Woodhouse..any of the other sons etc..their marriages..their stories..their families...
Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.
I invite phone calls, or e-mail..
