Hi,
Does anyone know of the Wodrings from New Jersey. My fathers name was Warren Earle Woodring (passed on 2/26/00 and his fathers name was Raymond Earle Woodring. Not sure of his death date. His mothers name was Evelyn Christina Woodring (nee, Yourison). I don't have very much family left now and would like to search for relatives. My mother said her family is of american indian descent. She
looked like american indian. They were named for the pines in the woods. My mothers name was Sarah Jane Lonabaugh, her mother was Mary Lonabaugh (nee, Pine) If anyone knows of any american indians from New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I am very interested to learn my heritage. I am part american indian and need to learn and meet someone who can help me search my back ground. I don't know why I feel so strongly about the american indian heritage but I breathe, think and feel their spirits. What can I do to find a reservation that will let me visit and be a part of them. I feel the spiritual american indian values my mother had taught me. I need to know more about my family tree. Does anyone know anything about the american indians from New Jersey known as the Pines? They took their name from the wilderness in the woods, thus calling themselves the Pines. I really need to know who I am and find what reservation or descent of indians I really belong to. I feel very strongly for them. I am american indian and german. American indian is on both sides.
Thank you
