Hi! I am John Woodvine living in Nashville, TN. I come from the Woodvine family that originated in Me(a)deley Shropshire, England. Dec 1841 William and Sarah Woodvine brought four boys to America on the ship Alfred. One died in route and they settled in New York. One eventually settled in Iowa(a miller) and died of dysentery during the CW. William appears to be son of Elizabeth(b 1797) and William Woodvine(b 1800) But I have no proof positive of all children of W @ E. The four boys list William and Elisabeth as parents. Does anyone have birth records of William and Elizabeth circa 1820? Also, I have DNA test being performed by Ancestry.com.
