Mrs. Theo Docia Woody Seabolt, age 78, of Hurst, Ga., (Fannin County) passed
away Sunday, January 5, at the Copper Basin Hospital following a short
illness. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church for the past
50 years. Mrs. Seabolt was the daughter of the late Mr. Wade and Mrs. Sarah
Woody. Survivors are her husband, Mr. James Esburn Seabolt, of the home;
three daughters, Mrs. Ethel McDaris, Morganton, Ga., Mrs. W. A. Crawford,
Hurst, Ga., and Mrs. Jewell Bruce, Suches, Ga.; three sons, Earl Seabolt,
Morganton, Ga., Emmett Seabolt, Suches, Ga., and Evan Seabolt, Marietta,
Ga., two sisters, Miss Ada Woody and Mrs. Victoria Brawley, both of Dial,
Ga.; five brothers, Marvin Woody, Ellijay, Ga., Merritt and Emerson Woody,
both of Dial, Ga., Evan Woody, Morganton, Ga., Claude Woody, Dahlonega,
Ga.; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Interment was in the
church cemetery.
