Okay Woodyards, Here is my delima: There seem to have been 2 Jeremiah Woodyards born in Charles County, Maryland, around 1750 or 1748. One died in Loudoun County, VA, in 1815, the other in Rannahannock, VA, in 1811 or in Fairfax, VA in 1816. One of them married Elizabeth Thompson (1752) in 1772 or 1776?? They had children, but am having trouble confirming whether Gerrard "Jarret" Woodyard/Woodgerd who was born in 1784 (d.1865, Megis, OH)either VA or MD.was their son as well as James 1773, Jeremiah Jr. (?) 1788, and Elizabeth (?) 1791. Does anyone have sources and records confirming these connections??? I can find each of them in records, but have not been able to connect them.
