I am looking for a Woolard family that immigrated from Barbados to Virginia in 1650. They were accompanied by Peter Evans, his wife, Elizabeth, & Children, Peter, John, Richard, & Sarah. (History of Perquimans County, Mrs. Watson Winslow, 1931).
It is the Evans family I am primarily interested in, but as they are recorded as coming together perhaps there is a relationship. Peter is said to be the son of Griffith Evans who was transported from England to Barbados, 16 Dec 1635, at age 40, aboard the Falcon, as a political prisoner.
