I am descended from the above named persons and would be interested to know more about their history in respect of their Parents/siblings etc.
I know they married on 25th Feb 1873 as I have obtained a copy of their marriage certificate and although I have details of their Children and the tree down to myself, I would be interested to hear from anyone else researching or related in any way to the Wooler or Cort Families.
I know Ellen's Father was called George Cort and that he was a farmer. Ellen is marked as being born in the Easington/Slaidburn area.
James' Father is also listed as a Farmer and is John Wooler.
James and Ellen had 9 children, all in the Bolton By Bowland area of Clitheroe.
Elizabeth Ann (22/01/1875), Albert William 20/11/1876, John 05/05/1878, James 18/03/1880, David 24/03/1882, Silvester Howarth 24/06/1884, Twins Oswald & Oliver 21/08/1886 and Maggie Eleanor 16/11/1889.
