I trace my first Wooten on my father's side...Gertrude Wooten is my great grandmother. She was born in Scranton, PA in 1909 and she married Coley Albert Budnick. Her father, Jacob Wooten was born in Wales in 1865 and married Mary Albino Summers. Jacob was the first Wooten in my line to come to the United States. After Jacob, I found his father to be Joseph Wootten (Spelling change?) from Beechingstoke England born on 1824. I found Woottens after this but I'm not sure if I am right.

I would love to get more information on this part of my family. I have been reading everyone else's posts but I'm not seeing any connections to my Wootens.
