Surnames: WORDEN KINGSLEY WHEELER
I've found the following while tracking a Mary J. Wheeler:
..... a possible connection with Wordens. It is very tentative, and slim.
In the 1850 Federal census, in Glenville, Schenectady County, New York, month is October, page 217:
Family 185 Clark Worden age 46 M farmer
Varilla? 46 F
Lydia 8 F
186 Asa ?? Worden 26 M farmer
Louisa 25 F
Andrew? Acka? 21 M laborer
Clark Worden 1 M
187 Asa Worden 55 M farmer
Mary 28 F
Jerome? 8 M
Rysa?Bryson? 7 M
Ellen 2 F
Mary 2/12 F
Mag J. Wheeler 20

Of course, I am interested in Wordens, but primarily in the Wheeler, and why she may be living with a Worden family. Possibly a relative ??? And, I think I have found her (the same Mary J) in NYC in 1860 census (age is OK), and a 6 year old Walter Kingsley is in the family 'group'. There may be a link there, too.
