Wm. T. Wortham, Adm.-Return of July Term of 1832 concerning Slaves

The balance of the personal property of Samuel Hamblet, deceased, together with three Negroes; Daniel, Hetty and Tena have been employed for the convenience of the Widow [Sally (Wortham) Hamblet] and children of said deceased, together with the Tuition of William W., Elizabeth and Samuel F. Hamblet.

Wm. T. Wortham, Adm.-Return of November Term of 1832 concerning Slaves.

Sales of the Negroes belonging to the said Estate [Samuel F. Hamblet] sold on the first, Tuesday in October 1832. Terms of sale small notes as in case of the other and if not punctually paid to biar, interest in like manner.

Wm. T. Wortham, Adm.-Return of March Term of 1833 concerning Slaves.

The Negroes to wit Daniel, Hetty and Tena worked for the support of the Orphans of said deceased, from return No. 2 until the first Tuesday in October 1832 at which time was sold.
