I had just about given up finding any ancestors for George W. Wratchford. In the last year I have found 2 new cousins. My mom is Sharon (Clayton), her parents were Elmer & Betty Clayton. I have also been searching. G.W.Wratchford is my maternal grandfather. My mother was Hazel Katherine Wratchford, sister to Charles and Virginia. G.W.'s father was Hugh Branson Wratchford. Mother Phoebe Josephine Glass.
He was born in1880 in Tucker Co. WV. Any info would be appreciated. How are you related. Who are your parents?

Hi Oliver is Cordelia Wratchfords sister. You probally know that. Any way i got names of the sisters and brothers and the parents name.

I don't know anything specifically about a Cordelia Wratchford but my Father (Robert) was born in Limerock in 1926. His Father was Oliver Henry Wratchford. If you dig up any information please feel frre to drop me a line. If I can help in anyway let me know about that as well.

I'm simply looking for any connection to my family. My father was Herman Richard Wratchford and grew up, as far as I know in Ellamore, West Virginia near Buchanon. He had two brothers I know of and my grandmother was Virginia Slaughter Wratchford. My dad died over three years ago and my wife and I are expecting and I just wanted to understand more of my Wratchford family. Thanks.

Where does the name Wratchford come from, do you have relatives in the UK. I believe Wrotchford may be derived from Rochford, as in Earl of and a town in Essex; but I do not really know

George William Wratchford, married Margaret Bell (Cook), parents of; Charles Gordan born 1905, died 1980, and Virginia Peaches born 1903 died 1988. Lived in West Virginia and Maryland. George William is my ggreat grandfather. Any help would be appreciated!!
