Surnames: Wright Rule
I have been researching my line for around 10 years, a little at a time. I can readily go identify my ancesters back to the birth of my ggg grandfather Lyman Wright (born abt 1819 in NY) His death certificate has only blanks in the father/mother blocks. Sad, but true. Census records show his parents came from VT. Any suggestions how to cross this stumbling block? His wife was Margaret Rule(sp?)
