Hi Charbet - I have not found anything more on John but I have found more on Jane, her maiden name was Jowett not Jewett as I had thought. This opened up a lot more doors! Have you checked immigration and naturalization records? I have been meaning to get into Philly to do that but it keeps getting sidelined.

im a Wrigley from lancashire! i dont have much contact with my fathers side of the family which are the Wrigleys. My Grandad left my fathers mother when he was two years. My Father is Marcus Wrigley and we are both from Blackpool.

I'm trying to decide if the John Wrigley (b. 1810) in my tree was in Middleton or Rochdale. I'm leaning towards Middleton. I believe he was married to Hannah Mitchell.

Can any one help? My great grand aunt was an Esther Richings and she married a Joseph Wrigley in Saddleworth. Esther was born in 1863 in Bradfield, Sheffield. I am looking for any information on the family especially their children and Josephs ancestors.

A respondent noted the date was 9 Feb 1829. Ryan's e-mail is no longer valid. This query provided critical clues on Joseph's parents and we need to confirm them.

Luke Wrigley Married Berryman in 1899 Ethell Berryman(Wrigley) died in 1914. They had 12 Children. All events in Ballarat. There is another family from the Berrymans in Australia who are researching. Please use my e-mail oricle@bigpond.net.au for further information.

I am currently tracing family trees on both mine and my husband's paternal and maternal sides. My husband has a Luke Wrigley born 1873 in Ballarat Vic who is his great g/father. His paternal grandmother was Ethel Coronatia Wrigley daughter of Luke Wrigley and Ellen Ethel Berryman.

I believe this Luke Wrigley's parents were Luke Wrigley and Martha Swindles, both born in Lancashire.

I am trying to track back from the Lancashire Wrigleys and also Ellen's parents - Richard Berryman and Mary Ann Johns both born in Cornwall.

Do you have any more details that could assist i.e. birth and/or marriage details for Luke and Martha or the Berryman side?

Can anyone help find the birth of my Martha Wrigley (born Lockwood on 1851 census)? My Martha married John Bray in 1820 (Almondbury) and they lived at Crosland Hill. I've been stuck on this for ages and have looked everywhere I can think of.

Hi I recently joined this website. I was excited to read your post. Thelma Wrigley was my great great grandmother.
She died when I was about 10yrs old. Her and Max's daughter Rose Julia Herrera is still living in Hurricane,Utah.
