The Everitt family has been extensively researched by Jeff Harmon. He has a great website at http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tashpage/ever... If you poke around on there, you'll find family trees, family photos, all kinds of great stuff. I'm sure he'd be interested in trying to help you identify your mystery photos. My grandmother and her youngest sister are still living. They are your grandmother's half sisters. They are the only ones of that generation left. They might be of some help with your mystery photos too.
Your great grandmother was William Everitt's first wife Laura Talbott, and my great-grandmother was his second wife, Lula Hardy. There's a lovely picture of William and Laura on Jeff's website. I've got an original of it in my dining room. I have a collection of letters that William and Laura wrote to each other while they were courting. I would love to know where I could get a copy of the Wuelfing Book.My Grand father was Hugo Wuelfing Indpls.. And recently I just lost my Brother Curtis Charles Hugo Wuelfing Carmel IN. I would greatly appreciate any information on the book or family you have.

Hi,
I would love to know about my Grandmother Wuelfing's family. I was told they had a farm in Scottsburg Indiana. I have her high school year book and some unidentified pictures. I will check this site more frequently now I know others are on it.

Curt Wuelfing is my brother. I was told that my father had a child with his second wife Rita. This child would have been born around 1970. My brother sister and I were not in close contact with my father after my mother and he divorced.

My husband Eugene was adopted when he was approximately 2 years old. His was a special situation, but he has later learned that his last name previous to adoption was Wuelfing. His adoptive mother kept his first and middle name.

Not only for geneology but for medial reasons, we are looking into his background.

He was born in 1970, sometime in July. He does not have the exact date. We were told by his adoptive mother that she changed his birthdate to the 15th, but she never said why.

We know that he lived in Indianapolis. We believe he is a brother or step brother or Kirk Wuelfing.

My father was Eugene Wuelfing. I would love to know how and where I could get a copy of this book. I have heard that there was a book out there but did not know how to locate it. I would love to get a copy for my brother Curtis Charles Hugo Wuelfing as a gift for his 50th birthday.

I'm looking for family members of Hugo and Eugene Wuelfing. They were early residents near Spades Park in Indianapolis. I'm researching the neighborhood's history and would like to find photographs and other information. I'd be willing to exchange information with descendants.

Agnus was my great aunt. Eugene Wuelfing was her nephew.
Ernest Wuelfing was her husband. Hugo Wuelfing was her brother-in-law my grandfather.

I am looking for information and pictures for Richard Mark Wuelfing. He has a son named Christopher Joseph. He died in 1989 in a car accident (Chevy Camaro). He last lived in Modesto, CA. Died in Alameda, CA. Christopher was born on August 31, 1979 in Freeman, CA. I am looking for pictures of Richard and information for Chris.

Maybe I can add some info to help you. Charles Wuelfing ( given name was Karl) was the second child born to Charles F Wuelfing ( given name Franz Karl Martus Wuelfing) - 1852-1936 and Amalia 1849-1939. Charles was the brother of my grandfather or my dad's uncle. Charles F was my great grand father and was a farmer in Bound Brook NJ. His wife Amalia's maiden name was Weber.

Charles F. had 8 children:
1) Anna Margareta (Mrs Charles Freuler of Oakland CA- both of whom I remember well as a child.
2)Karl - the Charles you are asking about 1874-1918 - I recall that my dad said Charles died of 'lockjaw' - tetnus infection. Probably was a cooper, as several of the men of the family worked at this trade.
3)Maria Franziela (sp ?)- Mrs James Toman 1876-1965
4)Amalie Maria - Mrs John Tschudi 1879-1956
5)Franz Karl - died in Germany as a child 1881-?
6)Sigmund - 1883-193?
7)Leo - 1885-1953 - My grandfather - farmer in NJ - Bound Brook and Somerville - he was 2 when family came to USA
8)Phillip - 1887-195? born in USA

Hopes this helps. Info is from published Wulfing family 1466-1913 history that was printed in 1913 by Dr. phil. F. Cruft (sp?) Wulfing in Bonn. Wish I had the entire book, but only have photocopies given to me by my aunt. All of it is in German and the type style is the very classic style, making it somewhat hard to read.

I don't know if you are still out there, but I have census information and locations for Charles and his wife Alexandra. Additionally, I have seen their tombstone in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Finderne, New Jersey. My great-grandmother was Charles's sister. Alexandra was born in 1880 and died in 1957. Hope you are still there.

I am looking for anyone who can tell me anything about an Agnes Wuelfing who I believe was perhaps born in IN, moved to Florida, and died in Indiana in 1987 at the age of 94. Agnes' mother was Isabelle "Belle" Marquette Morris/Morriss who I believe also lived in Indiana.
