Deed of partition
This indenture of two parts made and entered into this 2nd day of June 1858 between David Wylie of the one part and Harvey of the other part, the former of Madison and the latter of Garrard County and State of Kentucky and whereas the said David and Harvey Wylie are jointly siezed in fee of two tracts or parcels of land laying in the county of Garrard and State of aforesaid and on the waters of Paint Lick Creek which lie adjoining each other the first which contains 129 acres 27 poles and is bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a stake in the Co. road corner to the old Patterson lands, thence with the road S 51º W 72 1/2 poles, S 53 1/2 W 27 1/2 poles, S 58º W 42 1/2 poles to a stone thence N 34º W 148 poles to a stone and dead white oak, thence continuing with Mitchell N 57 1/2º E 93 3/4 poles to a hackberry and dead white oak corner to said Mitchell and Burnam thence S 28º E 20 3/4 poles to a small hickory on a branch thence S 34 3/4º E 191 poles to the beginning__ Now this indenture witnesseth that said David and Harvey Wylie have and do hereby make full perfect and absolute partition of said tract of land between them in two parts as follows (to wit) that the said Harvey Wylie shall hold possess and have to his proper use and benefit and to his heirs and assigns forever the following part or portion of said land (to wit) Beginning at the aforesaid beginning corner of the whole tract thence with the road S 51º W 50 poles 4 links to a stake in said road thence a new division line N 34 3/4º W 145 poles to a stake on the line of the whole tract thence N 57 1/2º E 52 1/2 poles to a hickory and white oak thence with the other lines of the whole tract to the beginning containing 44 acres, 2 rods 13 1/2 poles which is the full part and share of said Harvey Wylie in the aforesaid and the said David Wylie shall have possess and hold the remainder of said tract containing 84 acres, 2 rods 13 1/2 poles to him his heirs and assigns forever as his full shall and part thereof and the said David Wylie in consideration of the division and partition made by him and Harvey Wylie of all the lands of which they were jointly seized in fee does hereby bargain, sell and convey unto said Harvey Wylie all his right title and interest and claim in and to a certain tract or parcel land deeded to them by Salem Wallace and James Royston executors of Ebenezer Best containing about 35 acres and bounded as designated by said deed now on record in the clerks office of Garrard County Court to have and to hold said land with it appurtenances to him the said Harvey Wylie his heirs and assigns in testimony whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first written above

Said deed was this day again produced to me in my office and acknowledged by the said David Wylie & Jemima Wylie, his wife, to be their act and deed according to law. Whereupon the same together with this certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office.

This indenture made and entered into this 21st day of September 1858 between David Wylie of Madison County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Franklin W Champ of Garrard County and State aforesaid of the other part: witnesseth that said Wylie for and in consideration of the sum Five Thousand and Eight Six Dollars to him in hand paid and secured to be paid has bargained sold and doth hereby convey unto said FW Champ two certain tracts or parcels of land lying adjoining in the county of Garrard and on the waters of Paint Lick Creek the first of which is bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a stone in the big road corner to Harvey Wylie, thence with the road S 51º W 22 poles 21 links, S 53 1/2º W 27 1/2 poles, S 58º W 42 1/2 poles, to a stone, thence N 34º W 148 poles to a stone and dead white oak, thence a consented line with Wm D Mitchell N 56º E 49 poles, to a white oak, thence continuing with Mitchell N 57 1/2º E 41 1/4 poles to a stake on his line corner to Harvey Wylie, thence with him S 34 3/4º E 145 poles to the beginning containing 44 acres, 2 rods 13 1/2 poles__ The second tract of land is bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a buckeye in a hollow corner to Mitchell thence with a line of Harvey Wylies 35 acres S 40 1/4 E 121 poles to a stake on Mitchells line and corner to said 35 acres thence with Mitchells S 56º W 49 1/2 poles to a stake where a white oak, hickory & sassafras trees did stand corner to Mitchell thence with him S 34º E 15 poles to a white oak, thence S 56º W 49 poles to a stone and dead white oak, thence with a line of Benjamin Leavell N 34 3/4 W 140 1/2 poles to two white oaks on a hillside corner to said Leavell thence with another of his lines N 55º E 83 poles to a stake on Mitchells line, thence with said line S 34 3/4º E 6 3/4 poles to the beginning containing 76 1/2 acres and both tracts together contain 161 acres 13 1/2 poles. To have and to hold both of the tracts of land hereby conveyed with all of their appurtenances to him the said FW Champ, his heirs and assigns forever and the said Wylie warrents the title in testimony whereof the said David Wylie together with his wife Jemima Wylie have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first above written

Later she is in Estill Co,Ky, by 1870... Then later Mary Ann Warford-Wylie is with her son David in Franklin County in the 1880 census in the Bald Knob area ..
