Joseph A. Yahner a retired farmer od Cambria county, died in his home near St. Augustine at 10:30 yesterday morning following an illlness incident to old age. He was born in St. Lawrence, Cambria County, a son of Michael and Pauline (ebig) Yahner. He married Ellizabrth Cooper in 1884, the ceremoney being performed at St Augustine church by REv. Father Ryan. To this union were born 13 children. Surviving are his wofe and these children: Mrs Helen Hollen, Mrs Agnes McDermott, and Joseph Yahner all of Ashville, Basil of MC kees Rocks, Mrs Nancy Reagen of Altoona, Mrs HIlda Biller of PAtton, and Mrs Frances Meloy of Altoona, granddaughter Maria Kilday at home, and 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr . Yahner was a resident of nothern Cambria all of his life. During his early years he was a blacksmith but in later years he returned to farming. Friends will be received at home at any time.
