My Yanke family (Wilhelmina "Minnie") Yanke, along with her husband Ferdinand Erdt immigrated from Berlin, Germany to Albany, NY in 1884. Minnie's sister, Bertha Yanke and her husband C. Bandelow were already living there. There are many other 'YANKE' people buried in same cemetery but I haven't yet worked on this branch very much. Does anyone have any info on the Yanke family of Albany, New York in the mid-1800's to early 1900's?
