YANCEY, R.W. `Dell,` 78, of Plant City, died November 23, 2004. He was a lifelong resident of the area, a World War II veteran, an insurance agent for Indepen- dent Life, a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge F&AM #79, and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nonna; sons, David and wife, Myca, of Mulberry and Gary and wife, Catherine, of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Linda and husband Joseph Lombardo of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Anthony of Plant City; sister, Bernice Shields of Lakeland; grandchildren, Crystal Parker, Gregory Yancey, William Yancey, John Yancey, Christopher Lombardo, Marissa Lombardo and Delaney Lombardo; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, in Eastside Baptist Church. Interment will follow in West Oaklawn Cemetery.
