I am helping a cousin with some family research. Her mother was Hortencia Yates born in 1915 in Mexico. Hortencia's father was Guillermo Yates born in Mexico in 1873. It is believed that the father of Guillermo was an Englishman who moved to Mexico. They were from the county of Chihuahua (yup, just like the dog!) in Mexico. If anyone has any info or leads on this, I'd love any info you can share. Thanks.
