Years ago at the LDS library I found a book about Boyle County, KENTUCKY. It had complete biographies for John Jamison YEISER, his father DANIEL YEISER,MD and several other YEISERS. Daniel originally came from Germany, with his Father whose name, as I recall, was Engelhart. Engelhart was also one of John Jamison YEISER's brothers, named after grandfather. There was a sister in KY, named Catherine, who married and I don't recall the last name. They landed in Baltimore, MD, and from there spread out. You will find this YEISER family in KY (Boyle, Lexington, etc.), Louisiana, Baltimore,MD; Natchez, MS, and briefly in TN. They were Doctors and Lawyers, mostly, who all owned plantations and slaves. Most YEISER men fought for the Confederacy in the CIVWAR, except one Doctor from Lousiana, who served as a Union Doctor. All of this information is readily available if you search GenWebKY or Ancestry.com. If you have problems finding it. I'll be glad to share the references I have.
