Well to really throw a monkey wrench into the mix, I have totally different dates for John George Yenne.
1) He was born near the German border in Switzerland, about 1785. He came to America, from Switzerland (age 18, 1803) - making the year about 1784-85.
2)He was born 1782 near Strassburg, province of Alsace-Lorraine (France) during German supremacy.
3) from Bible records in possession of Miss. Ruth Yenne (Mrs. Harry Parnell) of Boise, Idaho says died Oct. 20, 1864 age 81 years, 7 mo., 28 days. (b.Feb. 21,1783).

So take your pick!! These all came from the Yenne book (1960's) that is microfilmed at the LDS.
