Mrs. Phillip Yoemans, No. 7 Fifth avenue, this city, received the sad news yesterday afternoon of the death of her son, Hiram Yoemans, which occurred at Steele City, Neb. No particulars as to the cause of his sickness or death were given. The remains will be brought here for burial and notice of the funeral will be given later. Mr. Yoemans was born in the town of Ls Prairie and left Rock county about twenty years ago and has lived in Nebraska ever since. He was about sixty-three years of age and a bachelor. He leaves a mother, five brothers, and four sisters to mourn his loss. Interment will be made at Emerald Grove.
