I am trying to find out how we are related to Sgt York. My dads mother was a York. He has always heard of Sgt York but did not know he was related till recently. I need to know what the names are for William York (Sgt York's dad) brothers names were. My dads grandfathers name was Denny York his brothers were Doc and clerence. There may be more but those are the ones I know about. My dad could not remember his great-grandfathers name but was wondering if William and him could be brothers.
