Sgt. Alvin C. York connection?

I've been told by my family that we have a connection to the late great Sgt York. My Great-Great Grandmother's name was Texas (Texie) York and it is believed that Alvin was her uncle. Does anyone know if any of Alvin's brothers had a daughter named Texie? She married Manuel Baker, had children in GA and SC and died in Rock Hill, SC if I'm not mistaken. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
