I am Seeking info on Sir Richard Yorke, born about 1430, died about 1498, Goldthwaite, York, England, married about1488 to Joan Mauleverer, born about 1432, England. I have found one child-Sir John Yorke, born about 1495, Gowthwaite?, York, England. I am seeking info on ancestors and descendents. "Burke's Peerage" has Richard as being kinghted 1487, MP for City of York1469 and 1482, Mayor of the Staple in Calais. Yorke of Halton Place formerly of Bewerley. Landed Gentry.
