Young board subscriber, not related also live in Texas. Escambia FL is in Liberty county then there is Escambia county FL.

Your father was Aloysius Philip Young born FL and mother Avis Lillian/Lillian Avis Oxford born Carter Co OK to James Richard Oxford and Mary Emma McCann, their youngest child, and you are Al Cortez Young. Lillian followed brothers Jesse James Oxford and Coy Cortez Oxford to Houston.

Carter County was created in 1907 from part of Chickasaw Nation. At least two of Lillian's older brothers were born in Gainesville, Cooke Co TX per their WW I Draft cards.

I find no "Bert" listed in 1900 census born Maryland 1881 listed with parents named George and Ellen. In fact I do not find him at all in 1900 census as Bert Young born MD.

You can obtain copy of Bert's SS - 5 that he filed to obtain his social security number. On the SS - 5 Bert told parents names including mother's maiden name and where they were from. You can also obtain your father's SS - 5 as his mother is not listed on his death certificate.

Residing with Robert William Essman born TN 1892 wife Birdie May Godfrey Essman born LA 1893 and their two children Roy age 5 and Minnie age2 [someone has made a note to this file that is related to this family] Only fact about the 1920 census is Bert's occupation. Who knows who the person was that talked to the census taker.

Where was A P Young in 1920 ? Where were they in 1910 ?

In 1880 census for Baltimore there were twelve George Young's listed as head of household none with wife named "Ellen". The 1880 census was taken in June, Bert was born the following Feb in 1881 based on death record and his WW I draft which do not always have correct year of birth. I have one for a grandfather that says he was born in 1881 yet he was listed in 1880 census born 1878 and have death certificate that matches the 1878 year of birth.
