Ralph Bud Young, 81, was called home to his Heavenly Father, Thursday August 26, 2004. He was born Sept. 21, 1922 near Shamrock, OK. He was an elder and active member of the Church of Christ. He and his wife, June, moved to Proberta, CA. in 1975 and started the Young's Ranch with his son Timothy. Bud loved farming, horses, working around the ranch and pulled many a weed in his day. He worked for the California Dept. of Transportation in Redding as a Parts Manager and retired in 1985. He was in the
Army-Air Force & a veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ila June Young, his sister
Marguerite Badolato of Santa Rosa, CA and her children. He is also survived by his daughter Beverly Hardaway & her husband Len of Bothell, WA., his son, Timothy Young & his wife Beth of Proberta. He had 8
grandchildren: Amber Van Ornum, Jake & Brittany Young all of Proberta, Sheri Schmitz of Proberta, Jennifer Applegreen, Andrew, Bryan & Laura Hardaway all of Bothell, WA., and 5 great-grandchildren. There will be no service. Memorial contributions in Bud's name may be sent to "In Search of the Lord's Way" PO Box 371
Edmond, OK. 73083-0371. Which can be seen on Sunday mornings on channel 12.
