Searching for more information on my great-grandfather, James W. Youngblood, , b. 2 Mar 1825, d. 9 Dec 1896. He married my great-grandmother (Annie Mae Walding Prim) about 1879, they had 4 children, Sidney Wyatt, Rena, Erin, and Effie. Most of this family is buried at Panther Creek Cemetery near Slocumb, AL., and its possible he has American Indian roots, source; family grapevine.
If this information is correct, he would been age 54 when he and Annie Mae married. Does anyone have informatoin about him prior to his marriage about 1879?
