Glad to see the activity on this board; I haven't attended to it recently. The oldest Zachman we have is Zacharius b. c1615 m. Catherina Henner; children:

Of Michael's children, Maria Francisca, Johann Adam, and Franz Josef died in infancy.
Maria Theresa m. Lambert Schuster (stayed in Germany?).
Francis Xaver m. Maria Eva Beckman and moved (a few short years after her parents) to Marion, OH. My husband descends from this line.
Marzell immigrated to IL; he m. Vincentia Frey.
Johann Paul is an unknown to the family. He supposedly immigrated to the US for a short time, then went on to South America, "never to be heard from again."
Michael's brother, Dominicus (Dominic) and five of his children immigrated to the US after his wife, Anastasia Vielsack, died.
The descendants of Francis Xaver Zachman and Maria Eva Beckman have an annual reunion with those who stayed in or near the Marion area. Every five years, there is a big push to include more of the descendants from around the country. For the last two major reunions, some of Dominic's descendants have joined us in Marion. It has been such a pleasure getting to know everyone. We have a great deal more on this family.

PS Please note; these Zachmans came from Ersingen, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany with the exception of the first two who came from Bilfingen, Pforzheim, Baden. These two towns are next to each other.
