I'm looking for any of the daughters of Israel Zager from Russia. He settled in Philly. He had a brother Joseph Zager that lived in Alliance New Jersey (Vineland area )Joseph and wife Rose got here in 1882.

My great grandfather come from Russia in 1882. His name was Joseph. They settled in New Jersey in a town named Alliance. His wife was named Rose Bofird.

My cousin Lorraine is researching the Zager family, starting with my great great grandfather, Reuben Zager, and his children, Joe, Joseph, Louis, and Fanny. My grandmother is the daughter of Joseph (There were two sons named Joseph, just to confuse us) and Rose Dorfman Zager.
Lorraine sent me a whole disk with the information on it, so if you're interested, please contact me.

From what I understand, Thomas and Ann Zager ran a grocery store in the Chicago area around the 1930s/40s. They had 5 children, but Edward is the one I'm most interested in. I believe he was a steelworker or something of that nature. I am his granddaughter, but he never knew me.

My grandmother, Eda Gibson, married Edward Zager around 1945. They gave birth to my father about a year and half later in August of 1946. Edward left my grandmother when my father was only 9 months old and was not seen again. We know that Edward went on to remarry and have other children. So I know I've got aunts, uncles and cousins floating around somewhere and I'd really like to make contact.

I know Edward had a sister named Ann Pring. Her twin children were born on July 4th. (The boy was Mickey, and I think the girl was Beverly.) Also, I think one of Edward's brothers was Tom or Thomas.

My grandmother Eda died 2 months ago, but my dad and I are still alive and kicking. If anyone has any information about my relatives, I'd be so grateful to hear from you!
