Johann Gottlieb Zahn, born in Niederwies in 1807 immigrated to Rockland Township, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin around 1854. He married Franziska Reinke. One of their Children, Herman Zahn, married Johanna Reinke, a daughter of David Reinke and Wilhelmina Krueger.
