I am having such a hard time with these Zakrzewski's (which in a strange way would include me). My grgrgrandfather Wojtec and wife came from "Ger/Pol" in ~1897 had Stanley, Walter, Joseph, Agnes and Alex(my grgrandfather). There are SOOOO many stories with Walters and Josephs Im beginning to wonder if they all arent the same person! My group had a farm for quite some time in MN and then all moved to Chicago then Florida. (Another common story) As of late I have found out that Anna changed her last name for some reason to Krigne (which is now Cregier) and that some others such as Alex (above)and his wife Tillie may have gone by Saseski like you mentioned. Do you have any more info of that whole name change other than that it probably made it easier for everyone else to pronounce? (btw, my dad went to Poland...they pronounce Zakrzewski "Zak-Shev'-skee" Thanks for any input. Candice
