STEVE & AGNES ZALESKI
Mr and Mrs Steve ZALESKI came to Kittson Co, MN fra the state of Illinois where they had lived for some time.

They settled in the township of St Joseph and farmed for a living. There were six children born to them:
Helen ZALESKI
John ZALESKI
Stella ZALESKI ( married Carl LUPINSKI)
Frances ZALESKI
Agnes ZALESKI
Mary ZALESKI

In 1919 Mr and Mrs ZALESKI were divorced and the property was sold at auction. Then Mrs ZALESKI moved to Minneapolis, taking the younger children with her.

Steve remained in the area and farmed until his death.

His brother John with his wife also settled nearby. They too, had chosen farming as their occupation. During the time he was actively farming, John also found time to be an active school board member and town board member. His wife died in 1918. There were no children born to this union. When he was left alone he decided to sell his property - this he did and moved back to his former home in Illinois.
