Some contacts of mine have helped me to find more information about Mike, the father of my Zebedis contact. I now have enough information to plot the family of Joseph Zebedis, and the data regarding Mike. I also have a bit of information about one of Mike's daughters.

However, I don't know of any way to find Hungarian records. I don't know where in Hungary the Zebedis family might have been from. I don't know who was the father of Joseph. And I have not taken the time to pursue much information about Mike's children other than the daughter.

Does anyone here know much about Mike's family? Does anyone know anything at all about Joseph's ancestors? The most frustrating thing for me is being stuck at 1876. It would be the shortest branch in my family tree work. :(
